Curious about HyperDocs but not sure how to get started? Multimedia Text Sets are your answer. Come create digital content that is easy to make and share, with the potential to instantly shift the way you deliver instruction.

Multimedia text sets are collections of content that you can curate, package, and efficiently push out to students using Google Docs. This session will take a look at how using Google apps for packaging and workflow can greatly enhance your instruction by maximizing the time you have in the classroom. Each participant will leave the session with new thinking about how to effectively integrate digital instruction, along with multiple lessons and ideas for use in any classroom.

A Curricular Approach to Virtual Field Trips Room 244
Recently Kea'au Elementary School went on a field trip to a volcano...and they brought the world with them. Over the course of a month schools from around the state of Hawaii and the world participated in a sweeping experience that included Google Hangouts with a volcanologist, a visit from a cultural expert, the researching of a Hawaiian chant and the sharing of Volcano based projects by schools in Hawaii as well as Mexico City. Come learn about the logistics, see videos of the experience , check out the some of the student artifacts and learn how you and your students can host their own global field trip!
