Metaliteracy is the New Black Room 244
The future belongs to those that can determine, access, locate, understand, produce, and use the information necessary to create, build and invent new things. But today's learners must build upon this antiquated notion of Information Literacy to now collaborate, communicate and share in global, participatory digital environments. This workshop will focus on the technological changes that have impacted the way we teach and the way they learn as well as the horizon technologies that will force an even greater shift in our jobs as educators.

Curious about HyperDocs but not sure how to get started? Multimedia Text Sets are your answer. Come create digital content that is easy to make and share, with the potential to instantly shift the way you deliver instruction.

Multimedia text sets are collections of content that you can curate, package, and efficiently push out to students using Google Docs. This session will take a look at how using Google apps for packaging and workflow can greatly enhance your instruction by maximizing the time you have in the classroom. Each participant will leave the session with new thinking about how to effectively integrate digital instruction, along with multiple lessons and ideas for use in any classroom.
